Wayne and Julie Anderson Pathfinder Academy
Dear Wayne and Julie,
Your first female graduate, Molly Burridge, has
completed her first full semester at Bishop Brady - one of twelve students
in a freshman class of approximately 110 teenagers to receive highest
honors! I have attached her report card in order to share her outstanding
scores with you.
I felt absolutely compelled to "put pen to paper",
and to thank you both for creating a student and an environment for which
we, as parents, are eternally grateful.
It is an easy decision to enroll your preschooler in
a Montessori school. The decision becomes a bit tougher when deciding on
this discipline for first through sixth grades. If feels like a leap of
faith to continue in a Montessori environment through the eighth grade.
After much research, many discussions and close
involvement in their educational choices, we committed to this environment
for both our children - from preschool through eighth grade. It is not an
exaggeration to say that our daughter, Molly, settled into her new high
school with the greatest of ease. We have little involvement with her
homework or with teachers' conferences. Molly was taught by you to be
extremely organized, self-reliant, passionate about learning, confident in
her verbal and social abilities and brimming with healthy opinions and the
patience to listen. We never dreamed that we would be so fortunate.
However, it is not the choice of a Montessori
environment alone that has made the difference. Your vision of Pathfinder
Academy, along with your sacrifice and determination for growth and
excellence, has provided our children with truly "the best". Your principles
and discipline, as well as your compassion and dedication, have benefited
our children to the highest extent. You are always willing to devote extra
time to every student and you also have the courage to steer your academy
and its beneficiaries to a place of the highest quality.
Please feel free to share this letter with other
parents if it is helpful, and we thank you again for this wonderful journey.
Sincerely,
Kate and Roger Burridge
