Dear Wayne & Julie,

As I sit sipping coffee this morning listening to the birds chorus, I remember it is Kelsi's last day with you all at Pathfinder. While we all look forward to Kelsi's joining the hub-bub of activity at public school next year, we also look back at where she's been. She's been in the best educational environment we know. Her time with all of you has matured her and re-kindled her love for learning. It's obvious she looks up to and respects her teachers at Pathfinder, who have guided her and her classmates through the minefield of early adolescence. Wayne deserves a medal for courage for dealing with four young teenage girls and their roller coaster ride through relationship dynamics this year!

Best wishes to you all for success in the coming years, and thank you for letting us be part of Pathfinder.

Wayne and Julie Anderson
Pathfinder Academy

Dear Wayne and Julie,

Your first female graduate, Molly Burridge, has completed her first full semester at Bishop Brady - one of twelve students in a freshman class of approximately 110 teenagers to receive highest honors! I have attached her report card in order to share her outstanding scores with you.

I felt absolutely compelled to "put pen to paper", and to thank you both for creating a student and an environment for which we, as parents, are eternally grateful.

It is an easy decision to enroll your preschooler in a Montessori school. The decision becomes a bit tougher when deciding on this discipline for first through sixth grades. If feels like a leap of faith to continue in a Montessori environment through the eighth grade.

After much research, many discussions and close involvement in their educational choices, we committed to this environment for both our children - from preschool through eighth grade. It is not an exaggeration to say that our daughter, Molly, settled into her new high school with the greatest of ease. We have little involvement with her homework or with teachers' conferences. Molly was taught by you to be extremely organized, self-reliant, passionate about learning, confident in her verbal and social abilities and brimming with healthy opinions and the patience to listen. We never dreamed that we would be so fortunate.

However, it is not the choice of a Montessori environment alone that has made the difference. Your vision of Pathfinder Academy, along with your sacrifice and determination for growth and excellence, has provided our children with truly "the best". Your principles and discipline, as well as your compassion and dedication, have benefited our children to the highest extent. You are always willing to devote extra time to every student and you also have the courage to steer your academy and its beneficiaries to a place of the highest quality.

Please feel free to share this letter with other parents if it is helpful, and we thank you again for this wonderful journey.

Sincerely,

Kate and Roger Burridge

Dear Wayne, Julie and Stacie,

It seems hard to believe Alex has just completed his Montessori years with you! We wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for all your dedication and hard work. We have the utmost respect and awe for all that you do.

Alex flourished in the Pathfinder environment. You were able to constantly challenge him and help him develop his own love of learning. He is a better person for having been a part of your community.

We will all miss Pathfinder, and we wish you the very best in the coming years.

Thank you so much,

Brenda and Andy Pfahnl
