Director:
Wayne
Anderson received his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in
Education and Philosophy at Plymouth State University, NH.
He received his Elementary I and Elementary II certifications at the
Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New Rochelle, N.Y. He taught
upper elementary and jr. high before becoming the full time director at
Pathfinder Academy, which he and his wife Julie founded in 2001. |

Curriculum Coordinator and Upper Elementary Head
Teacher:
Julie Anderson received her B.A. from Drake University with a major in
Biology and a minor in Spanish. After
teaching English in Japan for two years, she received her Masters of
Arts degree in Elementary Education from Simmons College. She received
her Montessori training for lower elementary at the Center for
Montessori Teacher Education in New Rochelle, N.Y. and has been teaching
in Montessori schools since 1992. Julie taught at the lower elementary
level for eleven years and has been teaching upper elementary for five
years. |

Jr. High Teacher:
Adrienne Rule received her B.A. in Music from the University of New
Hampshire. She is very accomplished
both academically and musically with many awards, scholarships,
productions and performances to her credit. |

Lower Elementary Head Teacher:
Tammy Miller Received her B.A. from State University of New York College
at Oswego with majors in Computer Science and Philosophy. Her
primary and lower elementary credentials were acquired at North American
Progressive Montessori Teacher Training Center. Tammy is the mother of
three children, two whom have graduated from Pathfinder and another
still attending.

Upper Elementary & Jr. High Teacher:
Beatrice Clerc received the American equivalent to a Masters in Science
in Math and Biology at one of France's top engineering colleges, the
Institut National Agronomique. She received her Elementary I credential
from the Seacoast Center for Education in New Hampshire. Beatrice and
her husband Olivier are natives of France but with their three children
have lived in several different parts of the world. She and her family bring
a wealth of cultural experiences and insights into the Pathfinder
community. |

Primary Head Teacher:
Karen Keeler received her Early Childhood Montessori credential from New
England Montessori Teachers Education Center. Karen has been with
Pathfinder since we opened, when she started as an assistant. She
assumed Head Teacher responsibilities after completing her training and
has since married and had two children of her own. |

Primary Head Teacher:
Denise Romanello received her Early Childhood Montessori credential from
the North American Montessori Center. Before becoming a Montessori
teacher, Denise was the Headmistress of Bear Hill School for nine years,
an alternative school where she also taught preschool through the second
grade. |

Aftercare Staff:
Alaya Anderson is a graduate of Pathfinder Academy and a graduate of
Concord High School. She is currently attending NHTI in Concord, NH.
Alaya was a Montessori student from the age of three through the eighth
grade. She supervises the aftercare program, works in the office and
assists in the classrooms when needed. |

Custodian:
Sandy Anderson was originally hired to be the school custodian but you
might find her planting flowers and trees outside, teaching children how
to use a sewing machine, taking pictures for the website, building sets
for an upcoming production or painting woodwork on one of the buildings.
One of the first things visitors notice about our school is how clean
and well cared for the facilities are. Sandy's high standards and
devotion to the school are seen and felt by the Pathfinder community
everyday. |
